Chaos Posted August 14, 2008 Share Posted August 14, 2008 Hi Guys, Only having my Landrover 1 week I am unsure what oils to use, I am OK with the filler/level plugs but do not know what grade oils to use in the................ Engine, Gear Box, Transfer Box, Diffs, Front Hubs, My Landy is a 1974 series 3 Light Weight FFR Any help would be appriciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
FridgeFreezer Posted August 14, 2008 Share Posted August 14, 2008 Gearbox EP90 Transfer Box, EP90 Diffs, EP90 Front Hubs, Land Rover swivel grease (it's sort of 50/50 grease/ep90 although raw ep90 will do, assuming it doesn't all just leak out) Engine - assuming 2.25 petrol, the green book says 15W50 or 10W40, don't buy swanky oil and don't buy super runny modern stuff, it won't like it.
