Les Henson Posted August 21, 2008 Share Posted August 21, 2008 It's usually caused by the slight excess of fuel being burnt. There's always more injected in the engine before it fires, so gives a puff of smoke. Just about all diesel engines that haven't just rolled off the production line will do this. Les.
