DEANO3528
Was chatting to the guys in the garage next door to work yesterday. They were trying to get a R plate Freebie on one of their ramps but it was rear steering. Appears the customer had been hearing a clonking and assumed the shocks wanted replacing. After a few miles he was having to drive along with lock on all the time. When they got it back to the workshop (after having to chain the RH hub asembly back) it seems the threaded arm with the lock nuts on behind the hub had slid out of its sleeve! There was no thread left inside the adjusting sleeve at all! One to watch out for perhaps.
BogMonster
IIRC there was some sort of service action on some of these arms, might be that though I forget the details
