OK it's a bit corny I know ;)

basically I haven't really looked carefully underneath yet, cos it's cold in the snow, although I've got:

1 crossmember

2 body support brackets that I got with the tub: kind of 'step-shaped'

2 body support brackets that I ordered: NRC 5665 [14 in catalogue image]

do I need to prepare for drilling? As the only guide I've got is the catalogue, it doesn't clearly show how to add the crossmember/ the additional 2 brackets [from what I understand, hardtop has 2 support brackets, sw has 4?] so a bit of guidance from whoever has done the conversion would be good

The basic chassis is the same for all the 110 models of a similar vintage, the only difference is the position and type of the engine mountings. As a reult of this, the mountings, holes or captive threads for anything you need to fasten to the chassis (in order to convert from van or pick-up to csw) should already be there.

looks good so far:

I hope everything further back than the 'new' crossmember is identical for hardtop/sw, I may just get the lid on before it snows.

One sticking point is removing the hardtop front door cills, the driver's side is being a bit stubborn, had to introduce the back to Mr cold chisel to get the tub off, although there's not as much scope for chiseling the front, what hints other than cold chisel/angle grinder/dremel/hacksaw? Can't seem to get the self-grips into the tight space.
