Hi

The last couple of days my disco hs failed to turn over when warm.

Drove home on friday and parked up. Came out to car bout an hour and a half later and she wouldnt turn over, just clicked all lights on etc. Left it a few hours and then tried again and it fired up straight away. Same happened on Saturday, drove home left it and went out a bit later and just a click. Tried it a few times to no avail so rocked the motor a few times then it started staight away.

Could this be the spider starting to play up when getting warm from heater???

Which 300? It's always a better option to state full details of the vehicle: model, year, engine, transmission, mileage so everyone else can figure if you have a spider, EDC or not etc. I suggest filling in the details in your signature.

Could be the spider, alarm, starter, ignition switch, relays and other electrical bits etc.

Just like cipx2 says

If it won't 'turn over' then it's either starter motor, starter pinion, starter solenoid, or electrical stuff ie. switch, wiring or battery and related connections and as disco's have an engine immobiliser then you won't even get a click, much the same with any car.
