MogLite
I need some 3/8 UNC exhaust manifold studs I'm using 101 manifolds, but they use a different mounting arrangement, to what I'm planing. Are 3/8UNC studs used on an other Landies ? Part numbers ?
Les Henson
Do they have to be studs? I think I have a box of bolts that size. Or Roger Barton is your man. Les.

Studs I thought would be better, I was going to use V8 head->exhaust manifold bolts.
02GF74
Studs I thought would be better, I was going to use V8 head->exhaust manifold bolts. 3/8 unc sounds like the right size - need to check this at home tho' There has been discussion about stud vs bolt and am I not convinced that studs are better. All production cars with rover v8 from the big makers had bolts fitted and I am not aware of there being problems. One thing to bear in mind that if you don't have a lot of space around the manifold (like me, v8 in lwt), you will not get them on with studs; I struggled getting the bolts in, one was next to impossible until an inspired moment to use a short length of rubber hose to hold the bolt then turn it using one finger from each hand.
