gazzer
Just picked up a 92 RRC MOT failure and i am going to use the engine and box (3.9 auto) including the EFI for my 90. Question is what is the best or quickest way to remove them? Would they come out as a whole unit or do i have to split them? It also has LPG. Would i be wise and junk this or try and reuse it. The reason i ask is because i was told it is not very wise to move second hand LPG setups.
LittleBlue88
To remove the engine and gearbox together is easy. Disconnect everything from the engine and gearbox(including the remote gear linkage),disconnect the ecu wiring loom from the ecu and car and pull it through into the engine bay, remove the radiator, cut the top part of the front panel out then its just a case of removing gearbox mounts, props and engine mounting rubbers the lift out(good, strong crane needed, bleeding heavy!)
