TD5 power
hi have you checked the relays and fuses i think some cars use at least two relays and if one failed that may be why you have one setting still working HTH matt
bluespanner
Its the resistor pack, most likely situated in the heater air inlet. The reason it only works on max is because the other speeds go through resistors, max works straight through. Might be a bitch to get to on a Renault. Orgasmic Farmer
Might be worth checking but on my subaru I forgot to reconnect the wiring block to the back of the dash when I changed the pollen filter. The result was the fan only worked on flat out. Might be worth a quick check to see it isn;t that simple. Saying that it happened on the disco too and that was the resistors! Discovan300tdi
arrgh Renault heaters, I had a Laguna that suffered the same problem a few years back its the resistor, and its a pain in neck to replace, and when it went 6 months later, I just did the series land rover owner thing and wore a bigger coat when it got cold
gelf
looks like a pain to get to in the haynes manual.......... brake resevior has to be removed and loads more other stuff just to reach it. is the blowing on full likely to pack in as well?
