110lad
Hi, this may sound odd but I have just bought an 1998 Reg County Estate Station Wagon 110 TD5. I am trying to find a spare wheel cover for the rear door mounted wheel which is a bit rusty. It and the wheels on it (inc tyres) are 30 " diameter. I have been looking for spare wheel covers of this size and seem to have hit a blank, all the 110/ Defender/ Discovery ones I come across on Ebay etc seem to be to fit 26" or thereabouts diameter. One guy even measured his advertised landrover one at 21" across which seems very small. The tyres on mine are 750x16 . I am a bit baffled. is there an explanation for what kind of wheel cover I should be chasing and / or have I bought a vehicle with odd wheels fitted to it. As an aside it seems simple covers with no advertising on them are difficult to find but one chap suggests steaming off the advertising. Anyone tried this ? western
if you want a full vinly cover you need one that's at least 33 inches in diameter to fit over a 7.50 tyre, ask your local dealer if they have any used ones they want to get rid of. some on ebay here & here on Craddocke website here chose in the top blocks 'accessories' then in the drop menu's 90/110 & Miscellaneous, scroll down the page to see the full covers. happy shopping
