western
Examine for wear these ---- all bearings-- crankshaft, camshaft, conrods both ends & cylinder bores crank & cam bearing surfaces oil pump rockers /rockershaft & valve tops/caps turbocharger 200's were used in Discovery with auto box so you could use the rlevant parts from that source. western
Afew on here have tweaked the boost setting & fuelling in the injection pump, different turbo's are available, but I'd get it running first with the standard one.
daveturnbull
If you're going auto, get an auto box from a 300 tdi disco. They have a high-stall torque converter so you get a lot more useable, responsive power. The 200 tdi auto boxes are rubbish - all wrong for the engine.
