EdF
Can anyone recommend extended mirrors with a decent sized glass which will attach to 90/110 standard mirrors, please? I have a pair which were okay on a car, but they don't fit the 90 mirrors well and the glass is small. Thanks.
Philip Tonkin
You could use the wolf ones? They don't attach to the existing mirrors they are just longer versions of the existing arms Here are some with larger mirrors attached. ozzie1989
When I did my trailer test I had to put towing mirrors on for the examiners use - they told me this the first day I had training (text due next day) after theirs would not fit. I bought a pair similar to THESE (paid £50 though ) If you look at the picture, the two screw tightening knobs at the top were facing the front of the vehicle not upright as they are there, I also turned the mirror 90 degrees so that is was as long as the 90's mirror rather than sticking out further if you get me... Worked great actually and were a secure fit due to the rubber around the mirror lens
western
the large version of the old Sherpa vans [now LDV] used the longer mirror arms too, have a look on ebay for some or visit your nearest LDV dealer, they bolt on same as the existing arms. EdF
Thanks for that guys, I think the longer arms (on a police LDV - the long arms of the law??) would be good.. They can fold backwards a bit when solo.
western
Yes they fold same as the standard short arms
