stevegibbs Posted March 23, 2009 Share Posted March 23, 2009 Hello, on my 1996 2.5tdi es i have a problem that someone may be able to help me with before a start pulling things to bits. It starts first time evey time but first thing in the mornings it starts but when you let the key go it stops, turn the key again and it starts let it go and it stops you play this game for half a dozen goes then it keeps running. BogMonster Posted March 23, 2009 Share Posted March 23, 2009 A dud key switch is certainly one possibility. Is it an electronic EDC engine or a normal Tdi with just the mechanical injector pump?
