How do you test an intercooler ?

Here's a way to do it:

- get a mountain bike tube

- cut it in half (semicircle) and keep the part with the valve

- connect both ends to the intercooler and secure them with the original hose clips or piece of string

- use your compressor or manual pump and pressurize to 1 bar

- submerge in water and see if/where it leaks.

Would be interesting to watch a bicycle innertube at 1 bar... Considerably less pressure will also most likely show if the intercooler is leaking. ;)

Just pump it up so it's balloning and watch if it stays that way.
