keithjh Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 Hi All, Just changed the n/s swivel hub on the dragons 300Tdi, the bl--dy ABS light is now stiuck on , do i need to get it on testbook to remove it? cipx2 Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 No. Once you solve the problem the light will extinguish when you start and drive the vehicle, like normally does. The problem could be: - the sensor not near enough to the CV joint outer splines - it got disconnected - one or both wires got broken in the jacket where they exit the ABS sensor. Ally V8 Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 As stated,when the wheeel speeds exceed 7kmh the self test should confirm good signals and the lamp should go out.The fault will be stored by the Ecu when it is read,but the ABS should function normally.This means the ABS lamp will just remain illuminated at key 2 rather than blink off after 2.5 secs for .5 sec then stay on till the car gets to 7kph.
