ThreePointFive
Hi all, My parents' '05 TD4 is behaving oddly when changing from 2nd to 1st. If the car stops in 2nd, if they then change to 1st while stationary and then pull away, there is a very severe judder/vibration. This is an intermittent problem, it hasn't done it for several months but did last night. The car is very low mileage, 15K, doesn't get driven a huge amount, maybe once a week, and isn't worked hard but does tow a caravan. Going to speak to the dealership about it but would like to have at least some idea of what this problem actually is and if it is a Freelander trait. Thanks in advance. ThreePointFive
Thanks, at least thats an area to be looked at. It seems to only occur when changing from 2nd to 1st while stationary and then pulling away, I can't think why that specifically would cause it.
