Davecrx
I've got the choice of a 3.5 or a 3.9 V8. I want to know what the differences between the two internally and if there are any externally Thanks Dave
FridgeFreezer
3.9 is bigger bore and runs hotwire EFi whereas most 3.5's were flapper. Most bits are interchangeable. Later 3.9's used serpentine belts.
Ally V8
All uk EFI 3.5's were Hotwire, same as the 3.9.Flapper was only on RRC.The main difference that is useful now is that the 3.5 is much more reliable than the 3.9 - esp when subjected to carp single point lpg systems.
