Spooner
All, I've been giving some serious thought about selling 'Bert' my 300tdi 110 CSW. I'm looking at a late TD5 version with the main aim of chipping it/bigger intercooler and other performance mods. I've heard that its best to go for a post 2002 model as the ECU is different ( better?) for carrying out mods on - is this true? cheers Gavin
Off Road Toad
It is true that post 2002 Td5's have a re-programmable ecu, where-as earlier Td5's actually have to have the chip physically removed and replaced. don't think there is much difference tho. also post 02 models have a nicer dash aswell. NicTheOrange90
I got one or two from here in the past. http://www.mod-sales.com/direct/vehicles/,..._Landrovers.htm Ask for Graham in sales. If you find yourself in Kent, your welcome to come and try my Td5 out.

Trying to stay away from dealers at the moment purely on cost - I'm off to see a private 2003 model tomorrow which looks very respectacable. cackshifter
If you're going to chip it etc anyway, would you not be better going for pre Mar 2001 and paying less VED? Nigel
NicTheOrange90
I know a local lad who wants to sell his nice metallic red 110 CSW, I think its a 2002, and has arouns 70k on it, he says he will take less than 10k, Id offer him 8500 and see where it goes from there.
