Gavin Hatton
Hey All, I'm going to be swapping my 300Tdi's Header tank and Radiator tomorrow as the header tank leaks and the rad not got much life left in it so I thought I'd to them at the same time. While doing these two jobs I'm also going to replace the vicious coupling and was just wondering if any of you have and suggestions of how best to do this or of anything in particular to be aware of/not to do. Any advice/suggestions welcome, Thanks in advanced, Gavin
western
for the header tank get the later white translucent version as the black one is known to split at the seam, though mine is fine.
FridgeFreezer
I'd remove the vicious fan and bung a scrapyard electric on with an X-Switch, a TDi doesn't need the fan whirling round 99% of the time anyway.
Godlykepower
for the header tank get the later white translucent version as the black one is known to split at the seam, though mine is fine. Or, even better, get an Aluminium one.
