Briarston Posted August 13, 2009 Share Posted August 13, 2009 Hello all, I want to swap the grumbling front diff. on my "90". I have a good Disco diff. complete with drive shafts and cv. joints (ones with the integral stub shaft, into the drive member. Do I fit the whole lot, Disco diff. is 24 spline and I assume "90" diff. is 10 spline, or do I use my existing cv's with the Disco inner shafts? Are the splines into the cv's common to both shafts? bishbosh Posted August 13, 2009 Share Posted August 13, 2009 I don't think the CV spines will be the same, so you'll have to swap the lot, which whilst you get stronger half shafts, you will get weaker CV's.
