JST
I am after the MPN for the outer oil seal that goes inside the hub after the bearings have gone on the stub axle from an early RR (Disco 1 maybe the same) rear hub. There are two seals in the early ones, one 'std' accessed from the disc side of the hub and then another that goes on the outer side of the bearings, these are not fitted to the later vehicles. If anyone has a picture and MPN that would be great. thank you
western
might be FRC8222 used up to chassis HA610293
JST
could be, i would need to check the number of the inner, the bit that makes me think its not is it says in the link, as used for inner and outer on some models, and its definitely a different seal to the inner one
western
my microcat says FRC8221 is the inner [nearest axle] oil seal to partner the outer FRC8222, now known as FTC4785 supersedes FRC8221
JST
yep that makes sense, i was using the old inner seal no FTC 2783 which FTC 4785 s/s which itself s/s FRC8221 so it holds that FRC8222 is the outer, will give that a go - cheers Ralph
