hobson
I've found some lovely aluminium tubing on the farm and want to use it to store the awning and windbreak on the roofrack, they'll fit perfetcly, but i can't come up with a good idea to seal one end and make some sort of removable cap for the other. the tubing is 100mm diameter, and i don't have a tig welder. i thought of cutting a peice of plywood or something similar to fit inside the pipe and screwing into it sideways to blank off one end but can't come up with anything for the opening end. any ideas anyone please?! landroversforever
try your local electrical/plumbing wholesaler. Could possibly get the end caps they have for the roof tube thingies. The ones for carrying pipe/conduit etc.
