Ben B
Just worked out that the constant puddle in my boot is coming from rain getting through the seal at the bottom of the heated rear window glass between the glass and the frame. I have tried sealing it using domestic stuff from homebase but it is not up to the job. Any thoughts? Should I get autoglass or similar in to do it or can anyone recommend some effective sealant? Thanks Ben
elbekko
I've sealed it with some basic acrylic stuff, seems to work very well, only downside is that it turns whiteish when it rains Noticed that afterwards, naturally. Silicone should work equally well. Be sure to do the entire bottom of the glass, and the two corner thingies holding the sides together, there was a pretty big gap there too for me. DC_
You prob already know so forgive the reply, but make sure it's bone dry before and after for at least 24 hours to get the best results.
