mudmuncher
Hi all Fitted a oil pressure gauge on my 90 (300 TDI engine) When the engine is ticking over it reads 25PSI and when driving it rises to around 40PSI . I just wondered if these figures were good , bad ,or normal ?? Many thanks Chris
Ex Member
Sounds fine. The workshop manual says: "Pressure, engine warm at normal operating speeds ........ 1,76 - 3,87Kgf/cm2 (25 - 55 Ibf/in2)"
