If they have then ******, Im working Monday Yep seems a bit stupid to move it to the monday at such late notice but i got this from the emailing list this morning Hi everyone, We have decided to change our pay & play day from Easter Sunday to the Bank Holiday Monday instead. Therefore it will now be on Monday 5th April and not on Sunday 4th April. All other dates will remain the same Wishing you all a Happy Easter !!!!!! moose
smokinv8 if your interested i have just another email through which reads Hi everyone, Due to huge demand, we have been asked by our members to have our pay & play day on Easter Sunday rather than on the bank holiday monday as previous email. Therefore the pay & play day will stay as previously planned on Sunday 4th April rather than Monday 5th April. We apologise for any confusion caused. I guess other people thought it odd to try and move it to the monday as well

smokinv8
I hope no one else on this forum went to this event because me and 7 other land rovers from Swindon did, and found when we got there a note on the gate saying "event cancelled". Bloody great, travelled all that way for nothing and lost my Easter sunday off too. Thanks alot Muddy Bottom

plasticbadger
I recieved an e-mail about the cancellation on Saturday, apparently due to some large trees down and concerns over the number of marshals available given the wet conditions and the tree clearing work required. I don't see what more they coulddo than send an e-mail out their mailing list, but of course you needed to be on the mailing list and check your e-mail, which most people aren't. They have said that they'll operate and play day next weekend at a reduced price of £15, which seems to show willing at least.

I am on the e-mail list but unfortunately its my work e-mail and that was sent/received at 1.04pm on the Sunday, not a lot of use to me when I had already been there. Anyway thats enough bad-feeling from me, todays another day and I im back at work.....great. Oh the enjoyment of owning ones own business.
