Steering Problem

Hello Landy's.

Just recently getting a problem from steering. Feels like going on marbles or ice in other words a very light steering. Land Rover 1988 110 3.5v8 Gemmar ps original, Pump only 2 years old. Is this fixable or replacing job. Am I looking a very worried piggy bank. :(:unsure:

Checked the tracking? Also could be wheel bearings or Panhard rod.

Mine is like this, just diagnosed the swivel pins/bearings are gone on the drivers side. Quite a bit if play between 12 & 6 o clock with wheel jacked off ground.

Well I hope this will be lesser of two evils. Its a bit concerning on occasions when travel about 30+ only to have the feeling your on ice with a light steering. :( My local mechanic can have the pleasure of fixing this problem An no doubt my piggy bank money box :(
