del
Hi all got a bit of a leak on my 90, it seems to be coming from the the clutch pipe namely the solid pipe union were it joins into the flexable rubber (were its fixed to the bulkhead) ,is this a seal thats failed ,dont seem to be loosing loads of fluid from the resevoir but enough to leave a nice damp patch on the road. Les Henson
No seal at that point - the pipe has a 'mushroom end', similar to brake pipe ends. The end of the flexi pipe is shaped so that when the two are screwed together there is a tight seal. Les.
del
I gave it a tweek , i think its the slave cylinder the unions not leaking something underneath is! , how much would a garage charge to fit a slave cylinder?
Mo Murphy
You can do it yourself for free, doesn't get any cheaper than that Change the clutch master cylinder at the same time as it won't last long with a new slave at the other end. Have a look here HTH Mo
