RWelbourne
Hi, How have people fitted centre winches? I have a truck cab with the spare wheels just behinf the cab, and i want the winch just behind that, but how do people attach it? Many thanks, Pete
Retroanaconda
Bolted through the floor directly to a hefty plate welded to the chassis, I imagine? Or, if you have a cage, perhaps vertically to a plate attached to the rear hoop X bars?
Mark
Ours is mounted onto the cage - the cage mounts directly to the chassis, so all the force is transferred to the right places. Obviously, if you don't have a rear hoop, hen this is not feasible, but if you don't have a rear hoop, then it does beg the question as to where you are going to mount the fairlead?
