chrisoleary
What sealant do you people use for fitting the rear window in the door. I have a new one to fit and the lumps left from the welds looks like it might cause a problem if I don't fit it with enough sealant.
jbs
My 90's rear door glass is sealed in with sikaflex(sic) and I then put the aluminium strips back in place with the self tappers that came out of it-It's been there for at least 6 months and hasn't moved at all, Can't remember where I got it from now either have a look on the net and google it that should give you an answer and an adult will be along in a mo to either agree with me or tell you what you should be using HTH John
Guest
Have a drive around and find a mobile window fitter, bung them a fiver and get some of the glass sealant they use.....
kingrat
TigerSeal £5 per sealant tube. My rear window is 4mm Ali plate and even that does not leak or rattle
