Mike disco Posted August 30, 2010 Share Posted August 30, 2010 Hi I've got a discovery 300 tdi that has been off the road for some time i'm getting it ready for the MOT but seem to have brake pressure problems with the engine runing and my foot on the brake pedel it slowly goes down to the floor I dont have any fluid leaks some owners say this happens to them but as a 4x4 instructor I must have everything spot on any ideas or thoughts. jonp Posted August 31, 2010 Share Posted August 31, 2010 Does it do it with the engine off , if so it could be your master cylinder . With the engine running the brake pedal can be depressed slowly father than with the engine off but it should not go all the way to the floor .
