farmer_ben Posted September 21, 2010 Share Posted September 21, 2010 hi, my brothers td5 discovery has just blown all its oil out of the header tank :s just wondered if this has happened to anyone else and what is the problem etc??? any help would be great. farmer_ben Posted September 23, 2010 Author Share Posted September 23, 2010 yea the engine oil has blown out of the header tank ,its the oil cooler it has a hole and all the oil blew out of the header tank ,ran out of oil pressure and the big ends have gone crank needs regrinding. bas times. JimAttrill Posted September 30, 2010 Share Posted September 30, 2010 I have seen two of those oil coolers with holes in, luckily the owners found out before the engines blew.
