ivanlrlukic
I have a posibility to acquire two 2-door RRC's which are not in a great shape. Idea is to use one until other one is torn into pieces in order to free chassis which would be sand blasted and welded. Now comes the main point (by which I would decide if it's worth to jump to the whole mess). How difficult is to change chassis under the body? Is it possible to unscrew complete running body, lift it and place it to different chassis? Engine, gearboxes and axles should not be a big deal. Regards, Ivan. teslo
Is it possible to unscrew complete running body, lift it and place it to different chassis? If chassis are the same, then yes...
ivanlrlukic
If chassis are the same, then yes... Better one is early '85, other is a bit older, around '79. Are those chassis interchangeable?
Range Rover Blues
Yeap, the body mounts didn't change AFAIK. Fork truck through the doors works well. Wind the windows down though.
