tinweasel
Hi, can anybody tell me how to find out which "code" the locking wheel nuts are? as I would appear to have lost mine and need to get a replacement Cheers Shaun
western
which type are they ? holes in the top face for pins to fit in or curved cut-outs down the sides, a LR main dealer should be able to help & supply a new key for them.
ashtray
My nuts have the letter stamped on the actual nut... not so sure if that is a good thing. mine is a 2002 td5 90. Check if yours have a letter underneath the chrome cap. Otherwise go to an LR dealer and ask them to get a techy out and try their set to see which one it is
tinweasel
The ones with the cut outs down the sides, I have asked a couple of mates with similer age defenders but they are all different to mine. I?was hoping not to have to pay main dealer prices but I will probably have to Cheers Shaun
western
there are 10 different codes for these A through to J inclusive assuming your vehicle has alloy wheels fitted.
bill comer
slight hijack...As of today I am the proud owner of 2002 TD5. It has alloy wheels but no locking wheel nuts. Can anyone recommend some locking wheel nuts please ?

ashtray
i only paid a tenner at an LR main dealer for my replacement key, they arnt that expensive, a complete set will set you back about 40 notes on devon4x4 or paddocks or the like
