CBolton
Hi all, about to fit a winch bumper, what size bolts should I use ? M12 ? want to make sure I use big enough thanks
M&S
Standard holes in the chassis are 10mm aren't they? They are on the TD5. If so 10mm 8.8's will do it.
Mark
Chris, M12's fit, and personally, I don't think you can go too big (within reason) - I used 6 M12's on my last one, hung the car off it, and did a reasonable amount of recovery, and it never moved. M12 would be my vote... hth Mark
fozsug
I too used M12's to fit mine. Cheers Tony

keithjh
cheers guys....just got 6 M12 8.8's hopefully get the bumper on this weekend Agree with the above then get mig welder out and weld the nuts up so some scrotum cannot have your winch and bumper away Keith
CBolton
Well M12 bolts fit in the standard holes in the front chassis so you can use them no worries got the bumper fitted.......just not sure I like it now lol
Mark
I see what you meant by it sticking out so far.... Mine ended up a little closer in, but involved a little cutting:
