v8bertha Posted June 15, 2006 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Thanks to everyone that replied to the thread about the salisbury diff replacement. You lot advised that I check the drive members on the rear axle before thinking about changing the diff. Well, having had the vehicle for about 8 months now, I thought it time to pull a few bits apart Lo and behold... the old Camel trick... the drive members had been welded to the half shafts, the welds had split and the drive member was rattlin around on the shaft!
