wack61
Does anyone have any recommendations for pickup friendly insurers for private use, i'm having trouble with the online quote systems as they all state in stone that they must not have been modified and mine has and will be a bit more yet. TobyMellin
I'm with NFU and they seem to love pickup's! Because they class them as 'light goods vehicle', my insurance was nearly half of that of a hard top! It's worth giving them a go, but I think they only insure in certain postcodes if I remember correctly...I may be wrong. I haven't mentioned my mods yet, but with previous cars I've had, they're not bothered about 'lowered or lifted suspension'...I just acted like I didn't know anything
jasonslaphead
adrian flux, nfu, lancaster all cover modded landrovers. you will probably find that you have to actually call them and go through the thousand questions for a modded vehicle. most of the online quote things are pretty restrictive about mods,

wack61
Thanks for the tips Adrian flux seemed reasonable at £377 Fully comp so I went with that, the quote I got from my wifes insurance company was £
