Mark
Does anyone know if there are any issues fitting older (1999-ish) 16" steel wheels onto an newer (06 plate) freelander 1? I know there is a fitment issue fitting older alloys onto newer hubs as they don't clear, however, I'm not sure i the same applies to steels? The 06 plate car currently has 17" alloys fitted, as it did from the factory, but I want to make use of some old wheels lying around whilst we repair one... FridgeFreezer
Well if you've got the wheels and the car then you're probably best qualified to find out for us
Mark
well, I have the wheels (although it turns out they are 15" rather than 16", so I am slightly less confident) but the car is 60 odd miles away... I'll report back with findings tho....
FridgeFreezer
I know that my 2001 has dished brake drums on the rear (and supposedly bigger front callipers) so early wheels wouldn't fit that, but by 2006 it may have changed again. longdog
Steel wheels from any year fit any year Freelander. Alloy wheels from 2001MY on fit any year Freelander. Alloy wheels from 2000MY and before only fit those years.
