najw
think the problem is that they can't interpret what the blue book say's so they just do what they like. It would be nice if you had a blue book for each type of event rather than 1 bloody great big one that you can't see the wood for the tree's in. Or even a glossery wich says for challenge your vehicle must conform to parts k..... and so on. Presumably that's why its broken down into sections and parts. You haven't been reading the whole book have you?
redrodant
Mr MSA man has said "in 1 action / motion kill all vehicle electrics, while seated in the normal drivers and passengers seatbelted seats. And be accesable from outside the vehicle. Thisw can be accomplished with upto a maximum of 4 "cutout switches, or solinoids". Most compsafari, moddified trialers fit a cutout in the middle of the dash ot transmishion area, which can be reached through a open window. This has been sufficient for 20+ years. Ps the msa arnt keen on solinouds as can "in there view" stick, or fail in the closed position!
yella 90
Im not being funny dave Bull in all honesty, i couldnt give a toss if " mr msa " isnt keen on solenoids, mine will be running a solenoid system to kill the 24v winch setup It will have the old style key isolator in line aswel just in case, which has been around for years and never been a problem until these idiots came along recently
