dirtysouthUK
I've seen a few side exit exhausts in pictures on here. Can someone recommend a supplier? It's for a 300td, just the back section losing the silencer would be ok. Thanks
Mocha Bear
I built mine from parts on the Jetex site! was really easy to do! Mocha
sutty_32
I cut off the back silencer section and just replaced it with a 90 bend, I can pop out and take photo's in the morning. Cost me £10 I think, lined it up, drilled a hole the exact size of the pipe, then lined it up and cut a slightly bigger hole, but offset to the first as I could then tell how it was going to sit. Doesn't rattle, isn't noisy either, but sounds a little nicer than standard :-)
dirtysouthUK
Thanks for the replies, sutty, I was thinking exactly that after looking at the link mocha put up. Pictures would be great, thanks. Cheers
sutty_32
Heres some pics, very straight forward job, cut it as close to the silencer as you can, clamp on new pipe and cut the body
dirtysouthUK
Thanks a lot for the pictures. Looks really straightforward. I'll get it done in the next batch of work I'm doing on it. Cheers
123tom123
is that welded on or just jubilee clipped on?
sutty_32
Its pipe clamped on (just a big jubilee clip I suppose). Doesn't seem to leek. The end of the pipe is notched to help the clamp.

sutty_32
After I removed my tow bar my exhaust caused a large dent in the rear body mount! So it wasn't long before I did this
