Francisco-Rey
Hi I have just bought one of these toys. After much research and ideas "'it's done"! Now one or more questions: considering that the increase in height will bring all those problems of change the midpoint of gravity and bla bla bla, and looking at the size / weight of the tent and the Discovery, with attention to the front of the roof that is lower than the rear and, that the medium of the Discovery is more or less over the front doors wouldn't be more logical set up the tent in this area instead of riding it in the back? There wouldn't be more balanced and distributed weight? Being in this place the greatest distance between the tent and the roof will cause more or less friction? I look forward theories! ToyRoverlander
Have got it on the front of the Disco. Dual swaybars, drives like a dream . Fuel econonmy is good too when you keep the speed below 100kph (about 11ltr/100km). The tent opens over the passenger side (rhd vehicle). Stevie D
Had mine mounted in the same way for my defender 110 csw - now changing to a disco and will do it the same way like that ^^^ Seemed to be more stable between the axles rather than out over the rear overhang. Nice roof rack setup btw - who makes that one toyroverlander - similar in many ways to my old frontrunner?
