Stevie D Posted April 12, 2011 Share Posted April 12, 2011 Land Rover 300 TDi Radiator / Thermostat Housing Bleed Plug I need to fit a new replacement bleed plug that fits the thermostat housing The old one has disintegrated leaving carp in the threads - anybody know off hand what the thread size ids so I can get a tap and clean it out - thought it was bsp - but too fine? I think the Land Rover part # is ERR4686B if that helps identify the correct thing I'm referring to! Anybody any reason not to get a pair of the brass ones rather than the carp plasttic versions that I keep ringing the heads off when they get old?
