Classic Rangie with no indicators

Recommended Posts

All of a sudden the totally reliable Rangie has no indicators and no brake lights; the hazard switch fires all the indicators ok. However, when the right or left direction stick is moved the seat belt warning light comes on and the low coolant warning light flashes - very pretty!. When I touch the brake, these two same warning lights light up but no rear brake lights.

Do I start with the brake light switch, the indicator relay or something else? Come to think of it , I have never seen the seat belt warning light come on before, seatbelts fixed or not.

As you can expect, any help will be gratefully received as most other road users are getting really confused when I forget the hand signals!
