Happyoldgit
I just thought I'd post a general heads up regarding the sort of thing I've used in the past to control additional electrical circuits and accessories - namely switch boxes and panels designed for use in emergency vehicles. These can be obtained quite cheaply over in the USA and some have the advantage of being fairly easy to move from vehicle to vehicle at renewal time. Some have inbuilt relays while others can be hooked up to external self sourced relays or manufacturer relay boxes or power / distrubution centres. While they can be got over here from the likes of EVS, Woodway, Premier Hazard etc I've usually obtained mine direct from the States, in fact the likes of Federal Signal SW300 boxes which can easily be mounted on the front face of Defender cubby boxes turn up regularly on Ebay secondhand. http://www.fedsig.com/docs/256A568.pdf More here... http://www.strobesnmore.com/index.php?cPath=11 http://www.sirennet.com/switch.html Just food for thought perhaps. Les Henson
I really don't think you should post complicated electrical stuff - it gives me a migraine Les
