Disco-Ron Posted September 17, 2011 Share Posted September 17, 2011 Last week i bought a new steering lock and switch for my 300tdi.... it came with three nice new keys, and was of decent quality, not a cheapy rubbish one.... came to fit it today, and............ its different, who would have though they fitted two different types to 300's........ ho hum...... Disco-Ron Posted September 17, 2011 Author Share Posted September 17, 2011 the one i bought has 5 terminals on the back, three normal size, and two big ones, where as my existing one has 4 normal size ones, i.m guessing mine has some sort of relay for the starter, and the new one was fitted to vehicles that go direct to the starter or some such oddities. . .
