hissing sid
Hi All, I recently bought a set of Freelander Alloys with Kumho MT Road Venture tyres fitted which are really good mud tyres. My question is? Would they be any good in Snow? I have a longish journey from the South up to the North of England to do in late December and don"t want to get caught in Snow. Any ideas please? Also, does anyone know where I could buy a Rubber type Nudge bar which has 2 spotlights fixed either side? I have seen one on a mark1 Freelander and it looked pretty cool. Again, any ideas? Cheers Dave
andybelfast
Dave , Try ebay using 'freelande nudge bars' as your search. Quite a few there. Andy
Henry Webster
You really want sipes (small cuts) for ice and hard packed snow. AT's or winter tyres would be much better.
FridgeFreezer
They may not be the best thing but the freelander is very capable even on road tyres, if yours has ETC then it will cope fine with anything.
