Chris Davies
I need to put a couple of new axles on my 200tdi defender. Whilst I know almost anything can be made to fit I need it to be simples. I know 200tdi disco's will fit with not much problem but what about 300tdi disco - whats involved with these? Cheers Chris
Boris113
Disco 300 axles will fit, I have them on mine. You will need to use the discovery radius arms, they are wider at the axle ends than your 200 versions. The other thing you will need to do is convert the rear diff flange from the 3-hole doughnut to your standard 4 bolt so that your current propshaft will fit. Other than that it's just a case of unbolt and rebolt Harry

landroversforever
Just make sure you get the radius arms with the axles to save any agro finding the right size ones!
Dover
A pal of mine has recently put puma axles on his 200tdi 90 with next to no messing around and they are apparently ment to be stronger. a bit late on the reply but it may help someone else
LandyLee
I did this conversion on mine , 300 tdi disco axles, disco front radius arms and new polybushes to fit. And did the rear propshaft conversion with help from foundry 4x4 ( they reccomended a high tensile bolt, spacer and big washer to pull out the center piece. ) actually they even offered to do it for me !!
