Disco-Ron
Well, my 300/90 is now properly coming together, i've just removed the centre seat and fitted a cubby box.... i have also raised the drivers seat on mudrails.... the problem that i now have is struggling to get down to the belt buckle when i'm sat in the seat.......... did any of the defender variants come with longer buckles...?? ie, the bit that bolts to the centre of the seatbox..?? mine could do with being a couple of inches longer... Cheers.
western
Don't think so, I've got mudrails on my seat & a cubbybox, I find the seatbelt buckle part is easy to get to. http://www.numcat.ru/landrover/p/31/53633/ increasing the height of the mounting point with a bit of box section & tube/longer bolt might work but probably not a good idea. Disco-Ron
Anyone been tempted to use something like this......? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2311592d7a Bit concerned about extending the mounting, i can see it being an issue should i ever be unlucky enough to have an accident/insurance claim.... western
never seen those before, you#d have to be sure the fitting tongue was a correct match
mmgemini
I too have my seats raised 25.4mm and a steel cubby box. There's no issues at all getting at the seat belt buckle.
Disco-Ron
Very odd.......... i fitted the box centrally, and i'm not exactly a wide person...... but i just find it awkward........ for a fiver i think i'll get a pair of those gadgets and see what happens....... western
you can relocate the drivers side stalk in to the old centre seatbelt bolt hole, it's the same thread on the captive nut, worth a try before spending any cash.

oap
Its already mounted in the most central of the two holes.......... so i have bought the extensions, and will see how they work........ I have the same problem Ron but I have a homemade cubbybox. The link you posted looks like a neat solution. Please let us know if they work and I will get them too.
