JimAttrill
I have the Defender LR manual and it is pretty incomprehensible about tightening up the nut after changing the oil seal. So there is a crush spacer, and it says you have to check the torque (I presume this is the torque required to turn the diff) at so many kg/cm. How exactly is this done as they don't say how you are actually supposed to measure it except that you need a spring balance. Or is there some sort of easier way? vulcan bomber
do tne nut up to the same place you undid it from, count the turns and put a center punched hole on the nut i line with one you put in the shaft.. Not that daunting a job really.
