Discovery 2 TD5 Flat Battery / Immobiliser problem

I'll try and keep this as short and sweet as I can, I have a 2004 Disco 2 TD5 Auto. About 2 months ago it refused to start outside my parent place, to cut a long story short it turns out that this is die to some interference from an as yet unidentified source ( I'm aware of the TETRA issues but there are no police or ambulance stations near by and nothing else that seems to be a likely culprit but it seems quite a few people are having problems with the central locking etc, the Disco just refuses to start and the alarm goes off)

So I park the car about 300m down the road in a small car park and it seems OK there, today I dropped the tribe off and went and parked in the car park, checked the locks still worked and left it ther all day.......with the lights on ...dohhhh.

So now when I try and jump start the car I get dash board lights but the locks wont operate off the key fob and the alarm just goes off. I can get the alarm to stop by putting the key in the drivers door and locking it.

I've left it there for now having removed the battery so I can charge it up, but I'm not sure it will make any difference.

I have all the original docs with the car and read that you can disarm the immobiliser via the key in th drivers door and that the code is on the "Security Information card" so I look at said card which is stapled into the In car entertainment booklet. It has the radio serial number on the from along with the Radio security code and I turn it over to find a section for the "Emergency Key access code" great.......except its not been filled in !!!

So tomorrow I will return to the car with a freshly charged battery, I'm working on the basis that this is not related to the problem I get 300m up the road as I have been parking her for a couple of months with no problem.

Any tips if fitting a freshly charged battery doesn't work, its bank holiday so I can;t ring the dealer who originally sold it up and threaten to burn ther place down ;-)

I've had so many problems with this dam immobiliser I think I'm going to have to find out how to get it permanently disabled. I'm kind of guessing the car was immobilised when it had power and now its had power reapplied it is refusing to disarm.

Any suggestions gratefully received, last time II had to get it flat bedded to the local specialist who told me there was nothing wrong with it after a week of testing it all, this happened to be the week that is snowed !!

Juts to add I can see a site on the net that can provide the EKA code for about £20, anyone used these , do they work ??

The EKA u can get from dealer or others might not be the one actually stored in BCU cos it's changeable with tester ... i changed mine too as to be like my card's pin to not forget it ... the sure way is to read it with tester, and set the alarm in BCU to "always disarm with key" mode
