fender246
Hi all i have a 54 freelander and just found out that the boot carpet is soaking wet on the nearside just below the rear light has anybody else had this problem that might give me a clue as to where it might be coming in
Modchop
I believe the rear (boot) door seal is the usual culprit, or an incorrectly fitted hardtop if that's what you have rather than a S/W.
FridgeFreezer
Drill a few 10mm holes in the underfloor box at the lowest point, both my FL's have had this! Trying to stop a LR leaking is like herding cats, just go with it
nickcc
All Freelander (1) rear door seals have been modified to, supposedly, cure the water ingress problem. I had a new one fitted by the dealer when I bought the car, seal cost about £130, just get the condensation in the toolbox now.
