M&S Posted June 25, 2012 Share Posted June 25, 2012 As per the title. We have been pondering this for a while now and was wondering if anyone had done it? What are the thoughts on the BW transfer box? I think it could work really well on the Disco 2 with the traction control. I think they would compliment each other. Are these boxes reliable? elbekko Posted June 25, 2012 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Should be a fairly straight swap. Propshaft length(s) will be different. If you get a recon one from ashcroft with a new chain and viscous coupling, it should last you quite a while. I'm almost regretting swapping out mine... although the LT230 is a lot beefier and I won't ever have to worry about the chain starting to skip again.
